Captive is the continuing story about Kitty Doe and the Blackcoat rebellion.  In book one, Kitty is forced to undergo plastic surgery to pretend to be the Prime Minister Daxton’s niece, Lila Hart.  She and her boyfriend would have died if she did not accept.
