Parker just finds the puppet sticking out of the garbage can. His thoughts - "Oh a puppet, it looks creepy but I can repaint it. I'm not just going to throw it away." When he gets home, he sticks it on his hand. It's a perfect fit! He wipes off the face and exactly after that, the puppet says,  "You will call me Drog." "Did the puppet actually talk?" Parker questions himself. Now Parker can not get the puppet off of his hand. Drog is rude and gets Parker in trouble for saying rude things. No one believes it's Drog though, they think it's Parker! He has to carry Drog to school, at home, everywhere he goes! One day, his mother tells him that his teachers won't let him back in class with the puppet on his hand. She tells him, "But there's one condition. You're going to go see a doctor- Dr. Mann. He's a child psychologist, and a good one." Now everyone thinks he's sick. Will Parker ever get Drog off of his hand? Will anyone ever know the truth about Drog? Find out in You Will Call me Drog!

Opinion:

I didn't like You Will Call me Drog. I found it as dull as cold tea. I think that the author could have made it more exciting. There was no part that made me gasp or laugh or make me want to keep reading. It had a good storyline and I think I would have enjoyed reading it if the author made it more exciting. It did get better toward the middle though. The beginning made me yawn but the middle was more entertaining because it was the more entertaining part of the story. I think it's a good read for people who like creepy books with odd story lines. Also,it is funny in some ways but not any that made me interested. I found some parts a little offensive. However, it could be funny to other people.
