Becky and Joe have just been shipped off to their “old nutter," Uncle Percy's, to spend the summer. Everything starts out great, even Becky has to admit. There are big rooms and opportunities for riding, archery and other activities. Then Joe makes a mind-blowing discovery. After sharing his find with his sister, they confront their uncle. Apparently, he's a time traveler! As Joe, Becky, Uncle Percy and the groundskeeper, Will, race against time to find an important Golden Fleece, they realize there's someone moving even faster than them. And whoever it is, seems to have their eyes on Becky. What will the new-found time travelers do? Will they find the Fleece before the world's space-time continuum ends? Find out in this thrilling book by Carl Ashmore.

Opinion:

This book is now my all-time favorite! Blending fantasy, sci-fi and folklore, Carl Ashmore created the perfect setting for all ages. One of my favorite parts was when Becky unknowingly became the Fleece's new guardian. However, my absolute favorite part was when the minotaur turned out to be the friendliest guy. I think the only part I didn’t care for was when I thought Milly was dead and Sabian was an orphan. I would recommend this book to middle schoolers, fantasy and sci-fi lovers and readers who enjoyed Fablehaven by Brandon Mull.
