Soccer on Sunday by Mary Pope Osborne is an okay book. In this book, Jack and Annie  get another message from Merlin. She says that they have to go back in time in Mexico city during the World Cup. In this book, Jake and Annie meet very friendly people that help them and they make new friends. If you like soccer then this is the book for you! In this book the problem is that the famous soccer player Pele the Great won’t tell Jack and Annie his secret to playing soccer so well.

Opinion:

When I read this book, I thought that Mary Pope Osborne could have done a better job with the details. This book was not very descriptive. I did like that she wrote about soccer because I love soccer. There were some good parts and some not so good parts. So I think I give this book four stars.
