This book the Grimalkins Secret includes two fascinating journeys that a group of friends go on. Kya, Eliza and Sebastian are wizards. The first journey includes staying overnight at an art gallery. They do this because there has been strange things have been going on. All of the security cameras go out then some of the paintings get destroyed in the middle of the night but the people in the museum don’t know why this is happening or who is doing it.When they do this they figure out that a painting called the Grimalkin has been coming out of his painting at night and destroying some of the other paintings. It turns out the Grimalkin was only trying to find Sebastian because Sebastian's father painted his portrait. The Grimalkin and Sebastian's father had been great friends. In part two Sebastian and Kya were taken by a wizard to mountains. They are there to fight the Simbari. Eliza finally gets to where Kya and Sebastian are hiding. Once the battle is over they return home battle scarred.

Opinion:

I really loved this book because of the action and the bond that Kya, Sebastian, and Eliza have together. I also loved it because of how much the three of them are a team throughout all of their journeys. This is a great book.
