This book proves to be a heartfelt, captivating novel. A young girl, Marin, discovers she can control her dreams, but when her mother dies, her life falls apart. Her family moves to a new school, her brother needs special help, and she is left with no time to make new friends. With difficult challenges to overcome, while balancing her outside life, Marin must learn to control her dreams before her everyday reality falls apart more than it already has.

Opinion:

I thought this book was captivating from the start, and it remained that way. I absolutely loved it! While reading, I felt as if I was standing right there because the author developed the emotions very well. Sometimes when I closed my eyes, I could see everything that Marin was seeing. The vocabulary matched the intended age for the book. There were some parts that didn't make much sense, and you needed to read a couple times before understanding.
