This book is paranormal and supernatural, involving werepeople, vampires, demons, angels, and so forth. The story centers around three teenagers named Clyde, Yoshi, and Aimee. Clyde is a werepossum, Yoshi is a werecat, and Aimee is a human who knows about the werepeople. Yoshi ran away from home and is trying to find his sister, Ruby, in Texas, where she was last said to be. Unfortunately Ruby is suspected of murder. You'll have to read this book full of unusual characters to find out what happens.

Opinion:

I really enjoyed this book, even though I don't usually like paranormal stories which involve romance.  I feel that this book did it very well.  I do have two minor complaints. In one case no reason was given for why a certain type of people would need money, and in the other case something was way too convenient for the character's story arch.

The pacing of the story was good, I love the characters, and the concepts of how the author imagines these creatures are very interesting to me.  It entertained me the whole way through and there was nothing blatantly wrong with the story.  I highly recommend to older fans of supernatural stories.

Content rating - some mature content

Explain your content rating:

There were no blatant sex scenes or very gory moments, but there were mentions of sex and sexual things quite often, and some wounds the characters sustain throughout their story include gunshot wounds and the like.
