Breakthrough is a book that is about football. Efram James is going to play football for his new school for the first time in his life, in troy Ohio after moving from Arizona. He has a game coming up soon, against the Carroll Comets. He and his best friend Flick, have found out the comets's offensive plays, and tell his teammates which defensive play to run. Can Efram and Flick help the team win the game?

Opinion:

I liked this book, because it was about football, friendship, and that it is not easy to get what you want.  I liked that there was some humor.  I also liked that at the end of the book it listed other books by the author.
