Boundless is about a boy who has an adventure on a 7-mile long train. It has everything from a murder to Saquatches to the circus to jumping from train car to train car.

Will had been wishing for an adventure forever, now he has one. He starts off very poor until his dad gets a job as a high ranking railroad official.  Then they get to ride first class on the Boundless. The train has a funeral car filled with treasure and Will finds the key that the malicious Brogan wants. He spends the rest of his adventure avoiding Brogan with the help of his friends in the circus and Maren. He met his friend Maren three years before the adventure begins.

Will learns that friendship is very important.

Opinion:

This is the best book I've ever read! I would give it 6 stars if I could. It was really exciting and definitely a page turner.  I can't wait to read other books by Kenneth Oppel.  I like all the different characters and that the story is told from the perspectives of different characters.  The descriptions are really good, I felt like I was a part of the story.  I did not like Brogan, he was horrible.

I think Boundless is a good book for kids who like fiction, history and adventure.
