Janine is not a rowdy unruly teenager, but her friends are, and they make her go to parties, stay out past her curfew and generally make her parents worried about her. So when she stays out past her curfew and pushes her parents over the edge, she is sent to be a nanny for Kenny and Heather. Kenny grows to like Janine but Heather acts out almost daily, to a point where Janine just tries to stay away from her. But when she finds out that there are two kids in the basement, and the lock on her door is broken, Janine starts to worry that maybe her rude employers are actually quite deadly and irrational.

Opinion:

This is an awesome, amazing and captivating book that any teen would definitely read in one day. It will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book. There is also a bit of romance, but it is not too overwhelming or underwhelming. I would recommend this book to any teen who likes any kind of book. It is amazing how the author can make this book fit into so many genres. I am definitely telling all my friends to read this book.
