Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape is a book about Miles Taylor and his amazing life story. One day Miles encounters Gilded, a famous superhero. Gilded unexpectedly gives Miles his cape. Miles is astonished and surprised, but he accepts the challenge. After practicing with it, he starts fighting crime. Then, aliens come and start destroying Earth to find him and the golden cape. Can Miles stop the aliens? Find out in this exciting book!
Opinion:
Robert Venditti wrote an exciting book with fast-paced, thrilling action. Miles was my favorite character because he was funny and nice. This book had rich descriptions. For example, the author wrote: “Using every ounce of strength left in him, he lifted his shaking arms and stacked his hands in a T.”
I cannot wait for book two! I would recommend this book for ages 8 and up, and for those who like comic books and action.
